How members opt in to texts

Morning Ballers Club only texts members who check an optional box agreeing to receive game reminders and updates. The box always loads unchecked, and checking it is never required to join or play.

The exact wording

"Text me Morning Ballers Club game reminders and updates (up to about 10 a week). Msg & data rates may apply. Reply HELP for help, STOP to cancel."

The checkbox as members see it

A copy of the field from the join page. It loads unchecked, and checking it is optional.

Where members see it

• On our public join page, next to the name and mobile number fields. A screenshot is below.
• The first time a member opens the personal link the organizer gives them, the same unchecked box and wording appear before any text is sent.

Both places link to our SMS Terms and Privacy Policy. We save the time and exact wording of each member's agreement. After opting in, the member receives one confirmation text with HELP and STOP instructions.
